Art Therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy are related but distinct practices. Expressive Arts Therapy is a broader, multimodal approach that
integrates multiple creative modalities – including movement, music, writing and visual art – guided by a trained therapist to help patients process
emotions and experiences. Art Therapy, by contrast, is a focused, standalone therapeutic discipline that works specifically through visual art-
making – drawing, painting and sculpting – as the primary medium for psychological exploration and healing. Both are offered at Veda; their
inclusion in your programme depends on your individual treatment plan and the package selected

Programme Guidelines & Commitment to Care

The guidelines below are in place not as restrictions, but as protections — for your recovery, your safety and the therapeutic environment that makes healing possible. Every policy exists because experience has shown us that structure, consistency and full immersion in the programme produce significantly better outcomes for our patients.

Payment

To ensure uninterrupted access to your full clinical team and programme from the moment you arrive, all payments are made in advance of admission. This allows us to focus entirely on your care without administrative interruption during what is often a vulnerable and important time.

Family Overnight Visits

To maintain the focused, therapeutic environment that residential recovery requires, overnight stays by family members within the centre are not available. Wehave found that the residential boundary — while sometimes difficult at first — is one of the most important conditions for deep, sustained healing. Family involvement remains central to the programme through scheduled family therapy sessions, psychoeducation and regular communication with our care team.

Remaining at the Centre

Patients are warmly encouraged to remain at the centre for the full duration of their programme. Stepping away — even briefly — can interrupt the continuity of treatment at a stage when consistency matters most. In the event of a genuine family emergency or serious medical need, our team will work sensitively with the patient and their family to find the most appropriate solution

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does Luxury Rehab Cost In India?
Luxury rehab in India typically ranges from ₹2.95 lakh to ₹6 lakh per month depending on accommodation, medical care, therapies, and treatment intensity.
Rehab costs vary based on factors like psychiatrist availability, medical detox support, accommodation type, therapy frequency, staff expertise, privacy, and luxury wellness services.
Packages may include accommodation, psychiatrist consultations, psychologist sessions, yoga, mindfulness, nutrition guidance, wellness therapies, and aftercare support depending on the selected plan.

Health insurance coverage for rehabilitation and mental health treatment in India varies significantly between providers and policies. While the Mental Healthcare Act 2017 mandates that insurers treat mental health conditions on par with physical health conditions, the practical implementation of this varies. We recommend contacting your insurer directly and asking the following specific questions: Does my policy cover inpatient psychiatric or de-addiction treatment? Is residential rehabilitation included under my mental health benefit? What documentation will be required from the treatment centre for reimbursement? Our admissions team is experienced in helping families navigate insurance queries and can provide the necessary clinical documentation and letters to support your claim. Please contact us directly and we will do everything we can to assist.

At Veda, the minimum programme length is one month — and this is a clinical recommendation, not simply a commercial one. The first weeks of any residential programme are spent stabilising physically and emotionally, which means meaningful therapeutic work typically begins to take root only in weeks three and four. Leaving before this point rarely produces lasting change. Beyond the minimum, most patients benefit from a stay of six to eight weeks, while those with complex, long-standing conditions or a history of relapse are recommended a three-month programme to allow full consolidation of recovery skills. Programme duration is always discussed openly with the patient and their family during the admissions consultation, based on a honest clinical assessment of individual need.

The difference is not primarily about comfort — it is about the depth, consistency, and personalisation of care. At a standard rehabilitation facility, patients may receive group counselling and basic medical supervision. At Veda, every patient receives a fully personalised treatment plan developed by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, and wellness specialists working together. The patient-to-staff ratio is significantly lower, meaning each individual receives far more direct clinical attention. Therapy is not limited to group sessions — it includes daily individual psychotherapy, family therapy, integrative wellness practices and regular psychiatric review. The residential environment is designed to reduce stress and support healing rather than simply provide containment. And aftercare planning begins well before discharge, ensuring the transition home is supported rather than abrupt. The measurable difference is in recovery outcomes — patients who receive intensive, personalised, holistic care are significantly more likely to maintain long-term recovery than those who receive only basic intervention.

Treatment may include CBT, DBT, psychotherapy, mindfulness, yoga therapy, group therapy, family therapy, relapse prevention, and holistic wellness practices.

Yes. Family visits are allowed at Veda Wellness as family involvement and emotional support are considered an important part of the recovery process. Family therapy sessions may also be included during treatment to help strengthen communication, understanding and long-term recovery support.
Yes. Professional rehabilitation centres maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient identity, medical records, and treatment details.
The right package depends on medical needs, privacy preferences, therapy requirements, accommodation expectations, and treatment goals. A professional assessment helps determine the most suitable option.
At Veda, residential treatment is priced at ₹2.95 lakh to ₹4.95 lakh per month, inclusive of taxes and the same rate applies across every centre — Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Sikkim. The fee covers private accommodation, psychiatric and psychological care, individual and group therapy, medically supervised detox where required, holistic therapies and meals with nutrition support. A client’s position within the range is set by room tier and programme intensity, not by city.

Veda’s monthly fee is all-inclusive and tax-inclusive. The quoted ₹2.95 lakh–₹4.95 lakh covers accommodation, psychiatric and psychological care, therapy sessions, holistic programming, and meals — with no separate add-on charges for standard treatment, and taxes already included in the figure. Pricing is identical at every Veda centre, so families are quoted the same rate regardless of location.

Premium rehabilitation centres protect privacy through several measures: a very low number of residents (Veda admits as few as five clients-eight clients per centre), private en-suite accommodation, strict confidentiality and discretion policies, discreet locations and controlled access to the facility. For high-profile clients this means recovery without exposure to large groups and personal information handled under strict clinical confidentiality. Veda’s small-cohort, private-suite model is built around discretion at every stage of treatment.
