The Executive Track

Confidential Rehab, Burnout Recovery and Full Clinical Treatment
for CEOs, Founders and Senior Professionals

Executive Track program at Veda Wellness

THE LEADERSHIP HEALTH GAP

Most executives don't have a rehab problem. They have a time problem.

Seventy-one percent of leaders worldwide now report significantly higher stress since stepping into their current role and eighty-two percent of executives say they have experienced burnout-level exhaustion at least once (DDI Global Leadership Forecast 2025; Deloitte Workforce Intelligence). India’s own professional burnout rate has been recorded as the highest of any country surveyed by the McKinsey Health Institute. Yet most executive burnout retreat and executive rehab options in India ask for the one thing a functioning CEO, founder or senior professional cannot always give: an open-ended block of time, fully offline, with a visible gap in the calendar.
The Executive Track at Veda Rehabilitation and Wellness was built around a different premise, that recovery and reset need not mean disappearance and that discretion, not isolation, is what actually lets a leader do the deeper clinical work.

A PROGRAMME BUILT AROUND YOUR STARTING POINT

Not every leader who needs this programme needs the same thing. A confidential clinical assessment conducted by a senior
psychiatrist, not an intake form, determines which pathway is right, often before you ever visit a centre.

Executive Reset
(10-15 days)

For founders, CEOs and senior professionals who are burned out, dysregulated, or running on chronic stress without an acute substance dependency. A structured, confidential de-stress programme combining physical recovery, home-style nutrition, digital boundaries and coping-strategy training, so you return to a demanding role with tools, not just a tan.

DESIGNED AROUND DISCRETION, NOT DISAPPEARANCE

Privacy without isolation. Recovery without disconnection.

Executive rehab in India has traditionally meant one of two extremes: a generic residential facility with no accommodation for professional reality or a luxury retreat so isolated that clients feel entirely cut off from the world they are meant to return to. The Executive Track occupies the space between.
Admission is entirely voluntary. There is no lockdown model at Veda — every client chooses to be here and retains a voice in structuring their own recovery within the clinical plan their consultant psychiatrist designs. Where role and recovery stage genuinely permit it, clients keep controlled access to email and scheduled video calls, so that stepping into treatment does not mean stepping out of every responsibility at once.

Two entry points into Veda Wellness Executive Track program

DESIGNED AROUND DISCRETION, NOT DISAPPEARANCE

Six pillars, one integrated clinical day

Clinical care and personalized treatment in the Executive Track

Clinical Care

Psychiatric assessment, individual therapy, dual diagnosis management and medically supervised detox where required. See Our Clinical Method for the full framework.

Physical wellness and recovery support in the Executive Track

Physical Reset

Daily movement, fitness conditioning, yoga and — at our Sikkim centre — guided Himalayan trekking. Physical exertion as a clinically recognised regulator of stress and mood, not an amenity.

Home-style nutrition and healthy meals in the Executive Track

Home-Style Nutrition

Meals designed with a nutritional psychiatrist and prepared in a home-style kitchen rather than an institutional one, because the gut-brain connection is part of the clinical picture.

Digital boundaries and screen-free time in the Executive Track

Digital Boundaries

An optional structured digital detox or a controlled-connectivity arrangement for those whose role requires limited access — decided clinically at assessment, not left to willpower

Coping strategy coaching in the Executive Track program

Coping Strategy Coaching

The core differentiator from a holiday: structured training in boundary-setting, delegation and sustainable stress management, so the change outlasts the stay and travels back into a busy life.

Real-world reintegration support in the Executive Track

Real-World Reintegration

Supervised outings, leisure and cultural engagement built into the programme from week one, easing the return to ordinary life rather than deferring the shock of it to discharge day.

Executive Track locations from Mumbai to the Himalayas

FOUR CENTRES. ONE CLINICAL STANDARD.

Wherever you need distance from — Mumbai to the Himalayas

The Executive Track runs across all four Veda Rehabilitation and Wellness centres — Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, and our new Himalayan retreat in Sikkim. Executives based in Mumbai or nearby cities who need a confidential programme without long travel time can access the full Executive Track at our Mumbai centre. For those who want genuine geographic and psychological distance from the environment that produced the burnout or addiction — a documented clinical advantage in its own right — the Sikkim retreat is purpose-built for it. Read more on why distance and altitude support recovery on our Why Sikkim page.

WHAT WE TREAT

Conditions, symptoms, and the scale of the problem in India

Substance use and mental health conditions remain heavily under-treated in India. Nationally representative data puts current alcohol use at 14.6% of people aged 10–75 — around 16 crore individuals — while only about one in 38 people with alcohol dependence ever receive any treatment and just one in 180 receive inpatient care (AIIMS National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, Magnitude of Substance Use in India). On the mental health side, the NIMHANS National Mental Health Survey found that roughly 150 million Indians need mental healthcare, fewer than 30 million are receiving it, and the treatment gap exceeds 85% for both depression and substance use disorders. Veda exists inside that gap — treating the specific conditions below, not addiction or mental illness as an undifferentiated category.

Substance Addiction:

  • Alcohol use disorder — from high-functioning daily drinking to physical dependence requiring medically supervised withdrawal.
  • Prescription drug dependency — benzodiazepines, opioid painkillers and stimulant medication misuse.
  • Illicit drug dependency — cannabis, opioids, cocaine and amphetamine-type stimulants.
  • Symptoms we look for: tolerance and escalating use, withdrawal symptoms, concealment or lying about use, failed attempts to cut down and continued use despite clear health, relationship or professional consequences

  • Behavioural & Process Addictions:

  • Compulsive gambling and financial-risk behaviour.
  • Internet, gaming and screen dependency.
  • Compulsive sexual behaviour and pornography dependency.
  • Disordered eating patterns presenting alongside addiction or mood disorders.
  • Symptoms we look for: loss of control over time or money spent on the behaviour, secrecy, neglect of relationships or responsibilities and distress or impairment when the behaviour is interrupted.

  • Mental Health & Dual Diagnosis:

  • Depression and persistent low mood, including treatment-resistant presentations.
  • Anxiety disorders, panic and chronic stress-related conditions.
  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress, including complex or long-standing trauma.
  • Bipolar and mood disorders requiring psychiatric stabilisation.
  • Executive and occupational burnout with physiological markers — disrupted sleep, cognitive fog, emotional blunting.
  • Dual diagnosis — addiction occurring alongside a co-occurring psychiatric condition, which our clinical evidence base treats as the norm rather than the exception among admitted patients; see our Dual Diagnosis Treatment page for the full clinical approach.

  • THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES

How we treat it — named, evidence-based modalities

Cost depends on programme length, room category (shared, private or VIP), and clinical intensity determined at assessment.

Modality What it treats How it works at Veda
Medically Supervised Detoxification Alcohol, benzodiazepine, opioid physical dependence 24/7 medical monitoring during withdrawal; see the 15-Day Detox Programme for the full protocol.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Addiction, anxiety, depression, compulsive behaviours Individual sessions identifying and restructuring the thought patterns that drive use or avoidance.
EMDR Trauma Therapy Trauma, PTSD, addiction rooted in unresolved trauma Structured eye-movement reprocessing to reduce the emotional charge of traumatic memories.
Motivational Interviewing Ambivalence about treatment, early-stage engagement Collaborative conversation that builds a patient's own motivation to change rather than imposing it.
Dual Diagnosis Psychiatric Care Co-occurring addiction and mental illness Unified treatment plan combining psychiatric medication management with addiction therapy.
Family Systems Therapy Relationship rupture, enabling patterns, family communication Structured sessions involving family members, in person or via encrypted telehealth. See Family Therapy in Addiction Recovery.
Somatic & Mindfulness-Based Therapies Chronic stress, emotional dysregulation, relapse prevention Body-based and present-moment practices that complement talk therapy and improve nervous system regulation.
Nutritional Psychiatry Mood, energy and cognitive symptoms linked to diet Nutrition planned with a psychiatrist around the gut-brain connection, not a generic diet plan.
12-Step & Non-12-Step Peer Pathways Ongoing relapse prevention and community support Optional group pathways selected to match the patient's own belief system and long-term recovery preferences.

    EXPECTED RESULTS

What recovery looks like without overpromising

Veda Rehabilitation and Wellness does not promise outcomes and no reputable treatment provider can. What we can describe honestly is the process and the markers most patients and families notice along the way. Recovery is a long-term, individual process; residential treatment is the foundation of it, not the end of it.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1. What is the difference between the Executive Reset and Confidential Executive Rehab?

The Executive Reset is a 10–15 day confidential stress and burnout recovery programme for executives without an acute substance dependency. Confidential Executive Rehab is a longer, phased residential treatment programme for alcohol use disorder, prescription dependency or dual diagnosis conditions. Both sit within the same Executive Track, and a clinical assessment determines which pathway — or combination — is appropriate for you.

Where your recovery stage and role genuinely allow it, yes. Many executives keep limited, scheduled access to email and video calls as part of a structured continuity plan built into their clinical programme. This is a clinical decision made at assessment, not a default — your consultant psychiatrist will not let professional access compromise safety or outcomes.

Yes. Veda Rehabilitation and Wellness operate under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017, which prohibits disclosure of patient information without your written consent. Confidential rehab for executives at Veda means anonymous intake is available, and your attendance, records and correspondence are never shared with employers, boards or family members unless you instruct it.

No. Digital boundaries are decided clinically at assessment. Some executives benefit from a full structured digital detox; others, particularly those managing active responsibilities, are given a controlled-connectivity arrangement instead. The goal is a sustainable relationship with technology, not enforced disconnection.

The Executive Track is regularly accessed by NRI and international executives seeking confidential treatment away from their home professional network. We conduct pre-admission assessments by encrypted telehealth, coordinate travel and medical documentation through a discreet third-party service, and prepare a full treatment plan before you arrive. Visit our NRI & International Patient Hub for country-specific guidance.

Admission to the Executive Track is entirely voluntary — there is no lockdown model at Veda. Programme length is set collaboratively between you and your consultant psychiatrist based on clinical need, within the 10–15 day Executive Reset or the phased 21–90 day Confidential Executive Rehab structure.

Outings are curated per client and may include a private film screening, a guided trek, a concert, a cultural event, or a quiet outing in the city where your centre is based. All outings are supervised, scheduled around your clinical programme, and carried out with the same discretion protocols that govern every other part of your stay.

Investment varies by programme length, room category (including private and luxury options), and clinical intensity, which is determined at your confidential assessment. Indicative starting figures are outlined above; current full pricing is maintained on our Pricing page.
