Mr. Abhishek H.A.

Mr. Abhishek completed his MSc in Clinical Psychology from University of Mysore, Karnataka.

He did internships in a variety of clinical settings. He worked as an intern in Manasa Educational Foundation for Mental Health and Neuro Science, Shivamogga. During this period, he gained exposure to clients with different clinical disorders, such as schizophrenia, mood and personality disorders.

After this, he went on to complete a 6 months long internship in the All-India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), in the Clinical Psychology Department, Mysore.

He worked as a Program Advisor and Counsellor in the University of People, Mysore. He also worked as a psychologist in a neuro-center in Hassan for a year.

In addition, he enhanced his academic and experiential knowledge by participating in multiple national workshops and seminars, such as National Workshop on Research Methodology (All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru), Suicide Prevention and Depressed Mind (Christ College, Mysuru), and National seminar on Forensics (Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, Maharaja college, Mysuru).

He is a DBT and REBT trained therapist, whose skills involve individual counselling, group counselling and family counselling, and he addresses a variety of concerns, such as addictions, mood disorders and personality disorders.
